Vintage dog exhibition poster 1947 in Vienna

This charming vintage poster highlights a dog exhibition held in Vienna from May 31 to June 1, 1947. The central image is a realistic and imposing portrait of a reddish-coated dog, probably a Chow Chow, with its tongue out, occupying the entire surface of the poster. Warm colors dominate, with shades of brown and orange that add a retro and authentic touch to this wall decoration. The German text indicates the event was organized by the Austrian Cynological Association and Wiener Messe A.G., held at the Rotundengelände site in Vienna. This poster is an ideal choice for lovers of vintage wall decor, dog enthusiasts, and collectors of vintage graphic art. Decorating a wall with this poster brings a historical atmosphere reminiscent of the passion for dog shows and the visual style of mid-20th-century advertising posters. Perfect for a living room, office, or a space dedicated to animals, this vintage poster will attract attention with its striking image and bold graphic typography. This poster is an authentic example of an exhibition poster, playing both on the direct representation of the subject and on a balanced layout of information. In short, it is a decorative piece that combines history, aesthetics, and love of dogs, for a wall decoration full of character.
