Vivid immersion at the heart of the scene
Immerse yourself in the energy and precision of an animated hunt with this art print Tir au courlis, where the composition breathes movement and attentive observation of nature. The art print Tir au courlis captures a fleeting moment: the bodies of the dogs, the posture of the hunter, and the sudden flight of the birds create a dynamic diagonal. Earthy and ochre tones blend with black and white accents, reproducing natural light and feather textures with great finesse. The technique, attentive to anatomical details and gestures, evokes an evocative realism that transports the emotion of the wild spectacle into your interior.
Samuel Howitt, master of the animal genre
Samuel Howitt, renowned at the end of the 18th and beginning of the 19th century, established himself as a specialist in hunting scenes and naturalist studies, influenced by the British tradition of illustration and the scientific curiosity of his time. His engravings and paintings, often commissioned for books and private collections, blend precise observation with narrative composition. This art print Tir au courlis illustrates his sense of pictorial storytelling: each posture and gaze testify to a craftsmanship inherited from the masters of realism and a documentary attention that made his reputation.
