In this captivating work, Lesser Ury brilliantly captures a Berlin street scene in autumn, highlighting the famous Hotel Adlon. The melancholic atmosphere of the season is reflected in the soft hues and delicate shadows that dominate the composition. The wet sidewalks and the reflections of the streetlights add visual depth and striking realism. The blurred silhouettes of passersby, bundled up against the cold, enhance the sense of intimacy and everyday life characteristic of Lesser Ury's art.
Recognized for his skill in marrying light and movement, Ury creates here a vibrant urban scene, imbued with nostalgia, that illustrates the elegance and modernity of 1920s Berlin. This art print is ideal for art and history lovers, bringing a sophisticated and timeless touch to your space.
