A Woman in a Landscape is an oil on canvas painted around 1840 by Martin Archer Shee. Neither signed nor dated, the work measures 90.2 × 68.6 cm and belongs to the Yale Center for British Art, Paul Mellon Collection.
A seated figure among rocks
A young woman in a red dress sits before a rocky cliff. A pale striped shawl wraps her shoulders, and she holds a straw hat by blue ribbons. Her gaze to the left leads towards the opening in the landscape, while a tree and sparse foliage close the composition at right.

Our frames measure 1.7 cm on each side. For a 40x60 cm painting, the total framed size is therefore 43.4 x 63.4 cm.
Canvas 100% polyester (285 g/m²), UV-resistant and solvent-free inks, safe for children and allergy sufferers. The canvases are mounted on a 2 cm thick wooden frame (4 cm for very large formats).
